The liver is the body’s largest detoxification organ. A healthy liver can avoid the troubles of hernia, bloating, constipation, etc., and also plays an important role in regulating blood sugar. Recently, the US “Rodale” online publication introduced the following liver favorite diets.
Cruciferous vegetables. Contains a variety of phytonutrients, flavonoids, carotenoids, sulforaphane and strontium, which can help the liver to resolve various chemical toxins and carcinogens. Common cruciferous vegetables are broccoli, cabbage, cabbage and white radish.
Seaweed. Seaweed, seaweed and other seaweeds can help the liver detoxify and prevent the body from absorbing toxic heavy metals such as cadmium and other environmental toxins. Research at McGill University in Canada found that the compounds contained in brown algae can reduce the absorption of radioactive particles by bones.
Sprouts. Bean sprouts are rich in various enzymes and can promote the decomposition and absorption of proteins.
Sulfide-rich food. Sulfate-rich vegetables such as onions, garlic, and onions can promote the production of glutathione by the liver, neutralize free radicals in cells, and act as a detoxifying and anti-aging agent.
Berries. Berries such as blueberries and strawberries are rich in phytochemicals such as anthocyanins and polyphenols. They have potent antioxidant effects and help the liver protect human cells from free radicals and oxidative stress.
